Salt is in the water and the air. The extreme Florida sun beats down on everything on your boat. The seas can be rough not just on our bodies, but every wave your boat hits, your wires wiggle and your connections are challenged. If you think about it, this environment accelerates wear and tear like almost no other. This is not the place to be using non-marine products (like automotive products), or using connections that are not galvanically balanced to the boats wires. Even the connection methods and wire securing practices are different with boats.
We have painstakingly researched and tested all of the products we use to determine the absolute best products available. With our installations and service, you can be assured of the highest standards for you and your family’s safety. With that said: Now for some of the fine print: Our 5 year guarantee is for our installation practices. This guarantee covers our wire choice, connection choice, and attachment choice. In other words, the wire quality, the electrical connection to be corrosion free and secure, the hydraulic lines of the autopilot from leaking steering fluid, the transducer from leaking seawater in to the hull (which we have never once had a leak! – we have installed thousands!) We do not supersede the warranty policy of the manufacturer which we represent. Acts of god, abuse or neglect of course is not covered. Simply put if we did not perform an installation to the best level possible, we will make it right at our expense.
